Brown Butter Blondies
1 package Vanilla Bean Instant Pudding
2 1/2 cups almond flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/3 cup unsalted butter (2/3 of a stick)
1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
3/4 cup chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
To brown the butter:
In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it starts to foam and crackle.
Once the brown bits start to form, remove the pan from the heat and pour the browned butter into a small bowl.
To make the blondies:
In a mixing bowl, stir the pudding mix, almond flour, baking soda and baking powder.
Mix in the browned butter, maple syrup and the egg.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Pour the blondie batter into a parchment paper-lined 8x8 baking dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean!
Once cooled, cut into 12 bars.
